PM Modi announces EX-GRATIA for loss of lives in the Lucknow fire

Lucknow ( The Indian View team) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the loss of lives in the Lucknow fire and announced financial assistance for the families of the victims and those injured in the incident.

Anguished by the loss of lives in a fire mishap in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. My condolences to the bereaved families. May the injured recover at the earliest. Rescue operations are underway and authorities are providing all possible assistance,” the Prime Minister said in a post on X.

The Prime Minister’s Office also announced ex-gratia compensation from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF).

An amount of Rs 2 lakh will be provided to the next of kin of each deceased victim, while those injured in the incident will receive Rs 50,000.
