India israel defence relation :

India and Israel share a “Special Strategic Partnership”, built primarily on extensive defence, intelligence, and counter-terrorism cooperation. Israel is one of India’s top military suppliers, providing advanced equipment, while India offers a massive market and opportunities for joint research and technological co-development.

India relies on Israel for critical technologies, including Phalcon Airborne Warning and Control Systems (AWACS), unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs like Heron and Searcher), and advanced electronic warfare tools.

Joint Development: A landmark achievement is the co-development of the Barak-8 air and missile defence system, which is used by both the Indian and Israeli armed forces.
