Bundelkhand No Longer Symbol Of Backwardness’: Yogi Adityanath Highlights Development
Lucknow ( Raghwendra Pratap Singh) : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said Bundelkhand was no longer a symbol of backwardness and was emerging as a new model of development, citing infrastructure projects, defence manufacturing, medical colleges and employment opportunities as signs of transformation in the region.
Addressing the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Conference’ at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in Jhansi, the Chief Minister said the government’s focus was on ensuring employment opportunities for youth, providing water to farmers’ fields and making villages self-reliant.
” Bundelkhand is no longer a symbol of backwardness but is emerging as a new model of development. The Defence Manufacturing Corridor, expressways, medical colleges, pharma parks and new employment opportunities have changed the face of the region,” Yogi Adityanath said.
He added that the youth of Bundelkhand were no longer migrating in search of opportunities but were increasingly participating in government jobs and industries.
