Union Minister Manohar Lal Launches Swachh Mobile App in West Bengal

New Delhi ( Raghwendra Pratap Singh) : A new Swachh Mobile App has been launched across West Bengal to improve cleanliness and address civic problems more quickly. Union Housing and Urban Development Minister Manohar Lal inaugurated the app today at a ceremony in Kolkata. Through this app, citizens can upload photos of issues such as stagnant water, garbage, or drainage problems.

Authorities have pledged to resolve complaints within two hours of receiving them. Minister Manohar Lal emphasised that Prime Minister Narendra Modi continues to highlight the importance of cleanliness under the Swachh Bharat Mission, but he noted that West Bengal is lagging behind other states in this effort. Initially this app will be instrumental in ten municipalities and corporations as a pilot project later it will be extended across the state.

Chief Minister Subhendu Adhikari announced that this new program will play a crucial role in extending cleanliness to every corner of the state. West Bengal’s Urban Development Minister Agnimitra Pal was also present at the event.
