According to the survey report by the UP Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC), an expansion of around 150 kilometers is proposed for the metro network, under which 7 to 10 new corridors will be developed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"674\" height=\"481\" src=\"https:\/\/theindianview.in\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/186389.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-547\" srcset=\"https:\/\/theindianview.in\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/186389.png 674w, https:\/\/theindianview.in\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/186389-300x214.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 674px) 100vw, 674px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of this expansion plan, preparations are underway to provide metro connectivity to Barabanki, along with most parts of Lucknow.
