New Delhi (Raghwendra Pratap Singh) : <\/strong>Activist Sonam Wangchuk, who was on the 21st day of a hunger strike, was shifted to the Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi by Delhi Police on Saturday (July 18, 2026) citing his deteriorating health condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Wangchuk along with the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has been demanding Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan\u2019s resignation over the alleged irregularities in the NEET-UG exam paper leak controversy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Wangchuk\u2019s wife Gitanjali J. Angmo said she was at the Safdarjung hospital in Delhi where the activist has been admitted. \u201cNothing should be administered to him orally or intravenous without take consent from me, his family and his doctors who have been monitoring his health for the past 20 days,\u201d Ms. Gitanjali said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
