NFSU Goa is only the second laboratory under the university and one of just 21 laboratories in the country to receive this recognition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The notification follows a rigorous evaluation by the Ministry of  Electronics and Information Technology, certifying the laboratory\u2019s advanced technical expertise, infrastructure and quality systems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Dharbandora-based facility will assist law enforcement agencies, the judiciary and security organisations by examining digital evidence with legal validity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The recognition is expected to strengthen research, consultancy and cyber security initiatives while reinforcing NFSU Goa\u2019s role as a centre of excellence in digital forensics and justice delivery.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New Delhi ( Vivek Ojha ) : The Digital Forensics Laboratory at the National Forensic Sciences University, Goa Campus, has received Central Government recognition as an Examiner of Electronic Evidence under the Information Technology Act.
