It has never ensured it&#8217;s responsibility for peace and security. Now, when pakistan wants to take credit of peace making or peace building the two US Senators, both from the Republican Party, have raised questions over the involvement of Qatar and Pakistan as intermediaries in the ceasefire negotiations with Iran, accusing both nations of supporting terrorism. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Senator Rick Scott accused Qatar and Pakistan of harbouring terrorists and mentioned that recent developments made clear that who our friends really are.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/theindianview.in\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/203513-1024x675.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2123\" srcset=\"https:\/\/theindianview.in\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/203513-1024x675.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/theindianview.in\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/203513-300x198.jpg 300w, https:\/\/theindianview.in\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/203513-768x506.jpg 768w, https:\/\/theindianview.in\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/203513-1536x1013.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/theindianview.in\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/203513-2048x1350.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In a social media post, the Florida Senator said, it should be clear to everybody by now who are the real friends of US. Qatar and Pakistan have long histories of harbouring terrorists, and right now they seem far more invested in propping up Iran\u2019s decades-long terror campaign than achieving a meaningful peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Senator Tim Sheehy also raised questions over Pakistan\u2019s involvement as an intermediary, recalling that it hid Al-Qaeda founder Osama bin Laden.
