New Delhi ( Abhishek Singh ) : <\/strong>Samagra Shiksha State Project Director (SPD) B. Srinivasa Rao on Friday said that the Government of Andhra Pradesh was sending 29 teachers, who received the State Best Teacher Awards during last year\u2019s Teachers\u2019 Day celebrations, to Finland to expose them to internationally acclaimed teaching methodologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Addressing the teachers at the \u201cInternational Professional Development Programme\u201d, jointly organised by the School Education Department and Samagra Shiksha at Andhra Loyola College in Vijayawada, Mr. Rao said the initiative reflected the government\u2019s commitment to the professional development of teachers in government schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Describing teachers as \u201cchange agents\u201d capable of transforming Andhra Pradesh\u2019s education system, he urged them to study Finland\u2019s emphasis on foundational and school education, adapt the best practices to local requirements, and implement them under the envisioned \u201cAndhra Model of Education\u201d. He also encouraged the participants to serve as mentors and resource persons for fellow teachers after their return.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
