Two-Member Investigation Team Constituted on the Instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

Decision Taken by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath After a High-Level Meeting

The Special Investigation Team includes Amrit Abhijat, Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of Religious Affairs, Tourism/CulturePraveen Kumar, Additional Director General of Police, Lucknow Zone, will be the second member of the Special Investigation Team.

The team has been directed to submit its report within seven days.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a high-level meeting late at night regarding the Lucknow fire incident. Following this, a two-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) was constituted on the Chief Minister’s instructions.

The Special Investigation Team includes Amrit Abhijat, Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of Religious Affairs, Tourism/Culture, and Praveen Kumar, Additional Director General of Police, Lucknow Zone. The Chief Minister has directed the investigation team to submit its report within seven days.It is noteworthy that after inspecting the incident site, meeting the families of the deceased at KGMU, and inquiring about the condition of the injured, the Chief Minister called for a high-level meeting late at night.

During this meeting, the Chief Minister expressed strong displeasure over the incident and directed that the strictest action be taken against those responsible. On the Chief Minister’s instructions, a special investigation team was formed to probe the incident, and its members will submit their report within 7 days.
