Bahrain intercepts Iranian missiles and drones military says

New Delhi ( Vivek Ojha ) :
Air defenses in Bahrain intercepted three missiles and several drones fired by Iran, the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force said Wednesday. “Iran continues its systematic aggression through its heinous missile and drone attacks targeting civilian infrastructure.
Bahrain is connected to the recent conflict with Iran primarily as a primary target of Iranian retaliatory missile and drone strikes, driven by the island nation’s hosting of the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet.
During the recent regional conflict, Iran launched dozens of missiles and drones toward Bahrain. Tehran cited Bahrain’s hosting of American and allied forces as the reason, claiming those bases were used to launch strikes on Iranian territory.
Bahrain and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations view the Iranian strikes as a shared threat, leading to intensified military integration and joint early warning systems among allied Arab Gulf states.
